OLD LIP FILLER AND BUILDING NEW

When it comes to lip fillers, sometimes the best way forward is to go back a few steps. In this case, we started with a dissolve-and-heal approach—not because the previous filler was “bad,” but because it had settled unevenly, creating bulk, asymmetry, or migration that interfered with the natural lip anatomy.

The Treatment Approach: Clean Slate First

Instead of simply layering more filler on top of the old, I chose to dissolve and reset. This allows me to: Restore natural lip movement and shape Reassess the true lip structure Prevent buildup and migration Improve long-term aesthetic outcomes Once the filler is dissolved, we allow the tissue time to heal—this supports collagen regeneration and reduces inflammation, so when we re-treat, the results are softer, more precise, and better integrated with your natural features.

The truth is: injectables aren’t always a one-and-done experience. Despite what social media might suggest, achieving natural, balanced results takes time. The dissolving process can feel like a step back—but it’s actually a strategic pause. It’s about playing the long game and building the lips you really want—layer by thoughtful layer.

This isn’t about chasing trends or rushing to refill. It’s about doing it right. I always prioritize: Safety over speed Subtlety over stacking Structure over volume So if you're thinking about jumping into lip filler, or reworking what you already have, just know: this is a journey. A beautiful one, if you’re willing to go all in and trust the process.
