Promotes regular thyroid function

The thyroid gland secretes hormones that effect many bodily functions, tissues and our BMR (basal metabolic rate).

The most common cause of thyroid abnormalities is iodine deficiency. Iodine is one of the many minerals found abundantly in sea moss. By consuming sea moss regularly, you are directly feeding the thyroid. However, those with acne prone skin types, I do not recommend a high iodine diet.

Improves the metabolism

After you food is consumed, our metabolism is responsible for converting the following 3 functions:

Improves circulation & immune function

Digestive health

Sea moss is known to ease many digestive issues such as indigestion, gastritis, ulcers, and constipation. It is said due to the consistency of sea moss, it can provide relief to all inflamed mucus membranes by coating the intestinal wall and speeding along toxin elimination.

Due to its high concentration of minerals and its nutrient density, when consumed it passes through the intestines and soothes any inflammations. Sea moss consumed regularly can help to eliminate cravings and as a result, bring the body back to its natural weight based on your level of activity and nutrition.

Reproductive Health

It has a generous amount of zinc and other minerals that are vital for reproductive function and health. It is anti-inflammatory by promoting circulation throughout the entire body especially our reproductive organs. It also acts as an aphrodisiac.

Rich Mineral Content

It contains 92 minerals of the 102 minerals that the human body consists of, and it is very low in saturated fat and cholesterol. It is also a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin k, calcium and copper and a very good source of riboflavin, folate, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, and manganese.
